The Lung Walk befits the Second Wind Assistance Fund which is a charitable provider of limited financial assistance to lung transplant patients of St. Louis area providers. The fund is designed to help pay for medical and other related expenses that are of an emergency or non-insured nature.

The Lung Walk provides an opportunity to unite our community while raising funds to help improve the lives of some of the nearly 3,000 children and adults in need of a lung transplant.

Help us make lives better for those waiting for a lung transplant.

The 2008 5K race and walk and one mile walk will take place on  October 18, 2008 in Historic Forest Park.

Honorary Chairman and Spokesperson Join the Lung Walk with Honorary Chairman Steve Savard, Sports Director for KMOV Channel 4, as we come together to support lung transplant patients and their families.
