Geoff Turner

Greetings Second Wind, I’m Geoff Turner and I’m honored to be the new vice president of the St. Louis Chapter. A little bit about me, well I’m 28 yrs old and originally from Pekin Illinois. I moved here on April 2, 2005 with my fiancée Courtney Ballinger to wait for a double lung transplant. After a 363 day wait I was transplanted on March 31, 2006, yes I’m happy it wasn’t April Fool’s Day. I am now a little over four months and feel great. Courtney and I have decided to make St. Louis our home and recently moved to the St. Louis Hills area. I can now start doing the things I love like mountain biking and karate. I am looking forward to working with Second Wind and helping wherever I’m needed. It feels so great to be a part of this organization and hope that I can do some good in my time as VP.
